Canada Update:
Parents and Grandparents program will reopen this month.
The Parents and Grandparents program (PGP) is set to reopen this month, as Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) prepares to send out invitations to potential sponsors.
The department confirmed via an announcement that starting May 21st, 2024, it will send out 35,700 invitations with the hope of approving 20,500 complete applications.

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated the table that displays the minimum amount of money required to settle in Canada. These figures are revised annually, based on 50% of the low-income cut-off totals. In order to remain eligible, it may be necessary to update your settlement fund numbers in your Express Entry profile. The deadline for this update is May 27, 2024.
This table represents the minimum amount of money required for immigration to Canada. If you have more funds, you may include the full amount in your profile or application.
